I have always been facinated by the Alice in Wonderland books by Lewis Carrol, there have been many incarnations of the story in literature, television, movies, and video games. when EA Games released American Mcgee's Alice about 10 years ago, the story piqued my interest, showing Alice grown up when she goes back to wonderland, but this time it is a more twisted and grotesque place than before and she must fight for her life when everything wants to kill her. My interest was sparked again on the same subject a few years ago when Zenescope Comics produced the short series Return to Wonderland, this time starring Alice's teenage daughter Callie in a very much violent wonderland, different story same setting, but still very good.

I wanted to do my own version of what I thought Alice would look like if she went back to wonderland ,grown up, to fight.
