Description Name: Ilima(Il-ee-mah)
Age: Roughly 18 in human years.
Gender: Female
Relations: She needs friends.
Element: Air/Wind
Bio: She is slightly taller and thinner than the average cheetah. Her eyes, lighter grey by her pupil and getting darker towards the edge of her iris, are very expressive. She wears simple silver jewelry -a bracelet and a piercing in her ear. A gentle breeze always surrounds her, even on the calmest days, due to her being an 'Air Bender'.
Personality: Ilima likes nothing more than to simply run. She's friendly, but doesn't talk in an excessive amount. She typically calm and composed, and, as stated earlier, quiet. She tends to react to the world around her or to conversations slightly slower than others, due to liking to think things through to the consequences before speaking or acting. This sometimes creates a disconnect between her and those around her -especially ones who are quick to come to decisions or jump into action- but she manages all the same. Often a voice of reason to people she meets, she prompts them to think about what they're doing before acting in a vain or unwise manner. Like all cheetahs, she prefers a solitary life, though she will stick with a group for stretches of time to help them and so they can help her. She spends much time alone though- often running for hours at a moderate pace, as running also helps her think and make decisions, and gives her some time by herself. (Very much an introverted girl.)
Beliefs: She is very spiritual when it comes to the elements, believing that each has it's own personality, and that they react to other elements as well as more mundane things that happen in the world. Though she is closest to Wind and Air by birth, she harbors a deep respect for all elements- even Shadow. She believes that Shadow itself is not bad, but merely tainted by it's goddess and the Shadow-Benders who use it for evil, and so almost pities it. She often 'talks' to the wind as only an Air-Bender can, 'listening' through all her senses -including the unnamed connection- to it, which often grants her a brief moment's warning to surprise attacks or ambushes, as an instant before it happens the wind stirs/almost quivers uneasily, and it sometimes even suddenly whips into a frenzy in anger, or fear, or some other emotion. It usually serves her well, giving her enough time to get out of the way to avoid fatal attacks, even if the attacker still manages a minor blow to her. When she prays, she prays to the Wind itself, thanking it for helping her and asking it to help preserve her and her friends. She doesn't much like how the Goddess of air supposedly acts, and so often refuses to voluntarily try to ask her for guidance, instead relying on the beautiful, wild beast that is the wind to her.

EDIT: Character development, hooray! Greatly increased her personality, and specified her beliefs. All-in-all, I think if you took the spirit of a Native American, allowed it a connection to -and control- over the wind, and stuck it in a cheetah's body you get Ilima. I'm talking about ancient native's here, back when they still ruled/roamed the America's, not the modern stereotype people seem to hold. She's also nothing like the Air Benders are supposed to be. XD /EDIT

Too lazy to shade her, yet I shaded the bracelet, earring, and gave her a shadow. Fail.
So. This is Ilima. She is for .
Planned her to be a bit of a background character, not of very much importance. That way when things get stressful in my life I can miss a few RPs without being overly missed, unlike the mistake I made with . Her jewelry is silver because when I think of wind/air and colour, I get grey/silver/colourless.

Not bad for my first large pixel background, hmm? Seeing as nobody showed up to my join.me it really was a trial-by-fire. All in all, I don't think it's that bad, especially seeing as with my tablet out-of-commission I had to use a mouse.

I've always had a deep-set love for cheetahs. I find them beautiful- and they seem so free when they run.
