For the last couple months, I’ve been posting illustrations for “Alhazred’s Eldritch Quest”. These are all going to be printed on two 11” x 17” cardstock posters that are to be placed side by side, showing his route through the Desert of Yondo to procure a prized magical artifact. I got the idea to make these Topographic Tales on one of my night walks- I wanted to combine comics with Dungeons & Dragons inspired maps to tell a story.
When these are printed up, they will come with 10 additional 8 ½” x 11” prints that show a scene from each encounter. I’ll be posting those in the coming weeks as well. I’ve already finished the art for my second Topographic Tale, “Doktor Apocalypse’s Outer System Adventure” and started on a third, “Capt. Von Nox’s Expedition to the Vile Isles”.
