Description
Libra was suddenly tackled down before she could even process what had happened. The creature moved far faster than she could've expected, nor did she notice the wings it had. The others stood shocked, they tried to rush in to help her but every time either of them moved or used their magic the creature dug its claws slightly into Libra's neck, warning them to stay still. Libra had to take a second to catch her breath after suddenly having the wind knocked out of her.
Zulu: Dammit! Get off her!
Lucky: D-don't hurt her!
The creature let out another low growl.
???: I'm only warning you, just this once. Leave, and don't ever come back.
Libra looked at her friends, and gave a slight nod. Zulu and Blue noticed and gave a slight nod in return. Blue motioned for Lucky to back away as he flew up a little bit. The creature glared, sensing something was up, eyeing Jonny as he seemed to be crouching down in preparation for something. Suddenly Libra's magic flared up from her horn, blinding the creature. It let out a roar and shielded it's eye as it backed off her a bit, Blue suddenly flew behind it and dove down, kicking it off of Libra. Jonny readied himself and gave the creature a powerful kick. The monster roared out in pain and slashed at him, but Gemstone flew in and knocked it back before it could dig it's claws into him. Zulu used his magic to grab a potion from his bag and threw it at the creature, and then trapped it in a barrier. The creature roared and thrashed around before slowly going limp and blacking out. Zulu still kept the barrier up just in case as Lucky ran over to Libra.
Lucky: Are you ok? Where are you hurt?
Libra: I'm ok, thanks. Just a little bruised. But that's something that makes me wonder...
Blue: wonder what?
Libra: All the reports keep saying that this thing slaughtered dozens of ponies, but something just doesn't add up. I'm not sure this thing WANTED to kill me. If it did, why didn't it kill me when it had me pinned?
Gemstone: Maybe we beat it before it could?
She said as she tapped on the barrier, Zulu shot her a glare and pulled her back.
Zulu: Are you TRYING to wake it up and piss it off?
Gemstone sheepishly smiled and backed away. Libra eyed the creature, circling around the barrier as she thought.
Libra: It was warning us to leave, but why?
Lucky came up to the barrier, also trying to get a good look at the creature.
Lucky: Maybe we were in it's territory?
Libra: Maybe...Did it warn the others it killed too?
Zulu: Maybe it killed them cause they wouldn't leave?
Blue: Yeah but who'd be all the way out here?
Libra: That's another thing that's been bothering me, this place is far from any towns or villages, it's so isolated out here. How could so many ponies have been killed out here? It's even more suspicious when none of the bodies have ever been found..
Gemstone: Do you think it ate them!?
Libra: maybe, but then were are the bones? the blood? surely something must've been left behind.
Lucky circled around the barrier, after making absolutely sure the creature was asleep and wasn't going to wake up, she asked Zulu to lower the barrier. Zulu was hesitant but Libra reassured him. Zulu took the barrier down and got another potion ready just in case. Lucky started to study the creature, trying to find out what it could be, and maybe even find some hint as to why it may have killed so many. The others all stood by, ready to act if it woke up again. Libra looked around the forest, for some reason....she felt like something was watching her...
