Description
This fictional battle is a part of the first season of the BIONICLE storyline.

The Battle of Kini Nui was faught between Matoran forces and Makuta influenced Rahi-beasts at the Kini-Nui temple. After that the Toa Mata had collected all the Masks of Power they were finally ready to fight against Makuta in his realm. But there was a big problem, and that was who that would defend the temple against the Rahi. To their surprise the Chronicler's Company arrived and offered their help. While the Toa would fight down in the dark, they would defend the temple.

When the Toa arrived in the depths of they joined forces, forming the two great Toa Kaita: Akamai of Valor (Red Soldier with yellow hair) and Wairuha of Wisdom (White Sniper with white hair). Together they went through the dark tunnels to fight the Makuta. But in their way there were dangerous bug-like creatures, called Mana. The Toa Kaita had to fight them before they could reach Makuta's lair and a hard battle began, almost resulting in the destruction of the Toa Kaita themselves. But they finally did it after many hardships and reached Makuta's lair. In this place however, the Toa Kaita could not exist, since Makuta is the spirit of Destruction. So Akamai and Wairuha was torned apart to the six heroes again. Only in their individual form they could fight the darkness of Makuta.

While all this happened in the dark depths, Takua (the red scout with blue hair) with his companions, Macku (blue fem-engy), Hafu (yellow engy), Taipu (yellow scout), Tamaru (green soldier), Kapura (red demo) and Kopeke (white medic) faught a furious battle against Makuta's Rahi-Beasts. They were successfull for a moment but in the end it would be for no good. When all hope seemed to be lost, they were suddenly stuck by surprise as Matorans from the Other Villages joined the fight. The battle finally ended with Matoran victory.

But one mystery still was left to be discovered...what was actually happening down there in Makuta's realm?
