A topical illustration, the Rosy Starling (Pastor roseus). In full affluence in the south of France at the moment, this bird made me dream when I was young! I hope to see and why not try to photograph them, so please stay here until this weekend cute birdies!Related content

Your Rosy Starling looks like a star belonging on a fashion runway! Let's begin:
- Love that beak and that transition into black. The occlusion shadow is well done.
- That eye 
- Head & Body brushwork is A+ I get a sense of texture that tells me this bird is very soft and I want to touch it lol
- THAT WING, oh my, love those highlights. They accent the blue very nicely and helps the wing stand out from the body.
- dem legs: Incredible detail showcasing what helps a bird perch wherever it may desire to plant its talons. Your shadow work here is good and adds to the depth of your subject.

For the head and body, I used first a brush which is normally used for hair to add a little texture. And after, with the simple round brush, I do more details at hand.
