this is Hinshikaki aka Moltenyan's father (Moltenyan and the others will be coming soon... promise!)
his name means Dying Flame or Flame on the verge of Death which has some lore implements as it refers to him not being able to die and also his dead twin sister, which is why he's grumpy and aggressive at times

in the olden days, he used to refer to himself as Moltenya Rock's boyfriend though when she was questioned about this she'd always say "Let him believe what he wants to believe" which isn't really denying the fact but rather implying that it is false but she did also once said that she was happy that someone cared and loved her, and that she would have dated him if their society would have allowed it!
you may have seen the armbands he wears... this is to both dehumanize him and denotes him for his lack of metal forging abilities, though he's skilled with artistic abilities and jewelry design when Moltenya saw his designs she initially requested for him to be lead jewelry designer when he advisors questioned her choice she said, "a smith needs to have designs to work off of, it would be foolish for a smith to blindly pounded away at steel" she also said that the lower classes worked together some with only designing abilities and others only foreign abilities together making works of art

I initially planned for Moltenyan to just not have a father for reasons but after the ai generated him with an almost identical other self I decided to make the duplicate his father other than giving him a brother. he has armbands and darker hair than his son.

when i think of Hinshikaki this is the one i mostly picher just without the fingerless gloves as it doesn't quite fit his lore,
i like how he looks to be someone in high government or military but also has the armbands which signifies lower classes
and i just love this pic outright and it was one of the first ones i got with his prompt! so the bar was set pretty high!
