Description
In most conflicts, the Type-0 Zealots typically fulfill the role of vehicular units. However, their are exceptions in which the Type-0s will allow their various subordinate races to deploy their own vehicles if needed. The Type-1 Saucer is one such example. Using a combination of a high-performance anti-gravity unit as well as tri-engine array of fusion engines for flight, the Type-1 is features somewhat average performance in terms of speed. What is lacks in speed, it more than makes up for in agility. The outer ring and inner saucer sections of the vehicle are connected by a series of powerful fast-acting electromagnetic actuators, allowing the outer ring to quickly change orientation to suddenly change direction. Caution should be taken however, as EMP weapons can disrupt the electromagnetic link enough that the ring can simply fall away from the inner saucer section, depriving the unit of most of its forward flight ability as well as all of its weapons.

By default, the Type-1 features two rapid-fire plasma cannons on the sides of the outer ring section. The guns behave less like conventional cannons and more similarly to flak guns, detonating the plasma pulses in close proximity to their target for higher hit probability as well as respectable damage. On the front of the outer ring section are 6 guided plasma bolt launchers that fulfill a similar purpose to conventional missile weaponry. Although these lack the same tracking as a modern missile, they more than make up for it thanks to both similar damage profiles as well as a far larger amount of them being available due to the energy projectiles being generated by the bolt launchers themselves during the firing process. Two energy bomb bays on the underside of the ring allow the Type-1 Saucer to also function as a bomber if needed.

To enhance the vehicle's utility, the Type-1 features a gravity tether for use in airlifting cargo such as valuable items or troop transport containers among other things. Creative Type-1 pilots have been known to try and use the gravity tether to grab onto enemy aircraft during urban combat situations and force said enemy aircraft to crash into nearby structures.
