Older photograph...I've been to Greece for years and now that I'm not able to go there I miss everything about Greece. The calmth, the smell, the very special people, the nature and of course the many many very friendly feral cats.
This kitten lived in a nest between two beehives
The mother trusted us to a point that we even helped her bringing her children back when they went too far away.
Somehow she didn't dare to pick them up and she came meowing towards us as if she asked for help.
So we carefully took the two babies in our hand and brought them back to the beehives where mum immediately started feeding them.....
I don't think I will ever forget this moment, like a million other unforgettable Greek little memories.....

I hope you have a great time, I live in Athens. But becareful...Beggining of August is the hottest time of the year. I suggest having wet towels with you and be very careful of the sun...about half an hour is enough for it to turn someone into a sausage.

oh yeah, everyone who ive talked to who've visited your area tells me the same thing. definatly going to invest in some hats and some ultra powerful heat smashing sun block. im white as a friggin sheet, ill be destroyed if i dont!

I know exactly what you mean about Greece. I'm half Greek so my family planned a family holiday to Greece earlier this year, for my 18th birthday. The atmosphere and culture are so unique, so laid back. It really is an amazing place - it stays with you after you leave. Especially the islands
