Description
So I saw the eye and was in another egypt mood and made this...yeaas you can see if you look at egypt stuff enough...it's based off the eye of Ra kinda...sorta...
so yea this isnt a complicated photomanip or anything LOL
Just for fun ^_^
Fun is good!
EDIT: if you think the eyes colors look a good off balanced, its because I was trying to get them to waver and swirl some with each other ^^ so its on purpose

So Beautifull! Althought I must say it's the eye of horus... Because Bastet (the goddess) is what they called "eye of ra" because she was his guardian, the left eye of horus is what represents the moon,and the right eye is the sun, and Ra is the sun, so that's why they get confused... But I love this, really nice and so perfect!!

This is both the Eye of Horus and the Eye of Ra, they are one and the same doesn't matter which way round they are depicted. I should know, I chose it for my dissertation!!

Actually, the left eye of horus is the moon, and the right eye of horus is the sun. The "eye of ra" is Bastet, or bast, the goddess, because she was his guardian when Ra was exiled from the throne by Isis

they are two different gods
Ra is a sun god and is the first being
Horus is a sky, war and protection god and son of Osiris and Isis
the symbol comes from a fight between Horus and Set, god of deserts, storms, darkness and chaos because Set killed Osiris
in the fight Set gauged out Horus' left eye, where the symbol comes from, and Horus cut off Set's testicles, which is why the desert is infertile
