My first ever character design/art.
Randomly just thought of an idea to draw a warrior figure. At first it was just a man with a cloak but as i carried on i kept thinking of better ideas such as the armour and swords and glowing gems etc. I didnt look up any tutorials and copy a design, this is an original. I did look at similar examples on google for help with shading and the buff arm because i have never done this before but everything just came into my head as i was going along. I feel it looks decent for my first go on my graphics tablet and with all the new techniques i tried but i cant really look at it from a critical point of view since i know nothing about art and would be bias so any comments on what i did well and what i could improve on would be appreciated.
Made on Photoshop using the my new Hunion graphics tablet. This was my first ever sketch on a computer so please don't be harsh.
