Description Well... this was supposed to be really depressing.
And I still think it is.
It's also a little more cute than I'd anticipated.
But I still get sad whenever I look at it, so I guess it works. XD

Oh, by the way - at the end, I image that this song started playing... [link] By the way, I really love this song.... It's kind of sappy, but you can just tell that it was written with a lot of real emotion, you know?

Anyway, these are really quick and sketchy looking, so not my finest work, but I guess I don't think they're offensive or anything.... XD

I have a bunch of pictures from Tumblr that I'm going to be uploading over the next few days... so... um, sorry, friends from Tumblr who've seen all this crap already! XD

Just... it's Spike and Dawn during the summer that Buffy was gone... they're both miserable, and blame themselves for her death. They're trying to not think about it, but it's still there... I dunno. It depresses me. : )

Oh okay I get it. Reminds me of when Harry and Hermione danced together while they were in a tough spot in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part one. Things are bad but if you get up and dance you can relieve yourself of the pain for just a bit.

I like the sketchy look! They give it a lot of personality. And I love how there's still so much detail in their clothes and hair (especially Dawn's hair, it just looks like so much fun! ) and poses because of it. It's very dynamic and all! Plus I just think it's amazing that you had the patience to draw the same characters so much times! And I really love the music notes. The color helps them stand out as something new and exciting, while the color shift helps the mood along, and the movement guides the eye along the pictures in the right order and gives it the flow that a picture like this should have! Plus I'm jealous that you can actually draw furniture and people sitting down - those are so hard for me!

Also it's not crap and I like seeing it again. So there. xP

Thanks! I'm glad you think so! I actually feel like this was a really good practice for drawing jeans.
Yeah, the music notes being a different color was actually my brother's idea, and I really liked it! It makes it a little more interesting, I think. And the composition in this one was so fun to draw! It's a little more organized than I'd originally planned, but I like it.
I was really proud of the sitting, actually. XD It was a great achievement, for me - I'm usually pretty bad at it!
