A group of Allosaurus hunting a sickly and tired Camarasaurus left behind by its group, it is not yet ready to give up the fight.
Has a bit of mistakes and is rather rough around the edges, but I am satisfied with it for the most part.

I took one look at this splendid snapshot and thought "Big Al!" (please be assured that this illustration most certainly is the equal of Mr Bartlett's thundering soundtrack and just possibly even better).

looks as if they don't want to eat the camarasaurus. They're like "run fatty run!" and laughing about him! Yes, there were already bullies back then in the jurassic. :-D I feel for him. His school time must be terrible like mine was. The three allosaurs are like normal kids, just want to be cool.
But good drawing. I could never draw like that.

well if the allosaurus trio are thinking run fatso run for your big fat life they are obviously testing their victim's speed and health before attacking it

Testing Cama's speed? But they know him! All 4 are in the same school grade. And look how the Allos laugh about how slow he is and how funny his head looks! Of course there's no teacher nearby who can see it. If I were Cama I would punch one of them in the face and see how the others react. Sometimes it doesn't help to speak, sometimes, if one gets bullied like Cama here, a straight fist to the face might be the best choice.

I always loved Big Al. Very nostalgic, haha. I love the patterns on everyone and the muted, sandy colors. The tilted composition really gives it some weight, and the three allosaurs have good distinct posing. Nice work.

I love the thickness you give to the Allosaurus, and the group of extended spines on the Camarasaurus' head. Reminds me of John Conway's picture of the Giraffatitan. And of course, the patterns and colors are great too!

Thanks a lot! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't inspired in great part by Conway's portrayal of the Giraffatitan, it was a very slick design.
