They would live out their lives entirely in the water, in rocky stream beds. They eat aquatic insect larvae and nymphs, and because they enjoy live prey they might be hard to care for.

Now this is an intriguing series of aquatic illustrations you've got here! I love how you make each bottle look as vibrant as an aquarium! You bring out the beauty in each rare water species too! Great job!

I do plan on it! My current PoD service only does larger prints than I'd like to make for these jars-style bottles, so I'm trying to plan how I want to go about it. I will post about it when they are ready!

They are not intentionally a callback - though I can see the color resemblance now!
