Racer X (secretly Rex Racer) was known as the best racer in the world in his day. However, near the end of the original series he retired from racing and became a full-time secret agent. After the final episode of the original show, Speed had not seen his brother for years. Until he appeared again with a conspiracy theory about the world possibly ending. Speed Sr. of course saw his brother’s ramblings as the ravings of a madman., but his sons thought otherwise. It was not until later, that Speed Sr. figured out that his older brother was telling the truth, and that he would come face to face with a very old enemy.
