I wanted to make a regal, elegant, high fashioned type of artwork, inspired by the Animal Kingdom. And the Queen Bee pops-up into my mind haha! In terms of the title of the artwork, I decided to go scientific AHAHAHAH! Aside from Rani which means a Hindu queen, either by marriage to a raja or in her own right. Anthophila is a monophyletic lineage within the superfamily Apoidea (bees) and is presently considered a clade, which means she is literary the QUEEN of all bees. haha
