Allow me to explain. The creators of Superman, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster were jewish, but DC decided when Superman landed on Earth he was raised Methodist, so I thought it would be funny if Superman converted to the religion his creators were and Martha and Jonathon Kent were Shocked. Now Martha and Jon are not anti-semitic they taught Superman or Clark Kent in this case that to accept people for who they are. Also, the way Jor-El and Lara put baby Kal into a rocket to safety parallels baby Moses being put into the basket. Ironically, he's mostly compared to Jesus, a Jew himself.

True, true some say the Superman story is basically Moses with aliens. With the exception of wanting to help people and rising from the dead I never really saw the Superman/Christ connection. Β :/Β
