History: Shaul acquired a witch amulet after graduating from her college and took it and her degree to the offices of LAAW, where she took the position of an Officer for a majority of her life. Most of her accomplishments were as a detective solving magic-related mysteries, which ended up inspiring her to write stories about that variety of mystery when she ended up getting close to the age where she couldn't reliably perform her position. Eventually, that time came, and she moved into retirement.
