well i personaly dont know who this fello is but i dont know great work when i see it. this is such a large image was this scanned on a larger than leagal sized scanner or did you scan it several times on one? the reason i ask is cuz i had a few large drawings i had to scan in a few times .... i hated the reasults. anyway i love this piece. alot of talent.

thanks! actually, it's on a regular 8.5X11 piece of paper. I just scaned it with a huge resolution cuz I wanted to get all the detail and shit that was actually in the drawing. But yeah, it's just regular size. I have another that i'm working on at the moment that's huge and i'm debating whether or not I should put the effort into scanning it. I dunno. When I saw this drawing I was awe struck. I drew a chino picture but...it wasn't nearly as good as this. It's photo realistc. I have a couple of questions tho: One is how did you get the highlights and reflections in the hair, it looks so real! And the second is what size paper did you draw on? LoL It's frikkin huge. Seems like a good way to add detail though. GO BIG.

only thing is that the hair over his left eye doesn't quite have enough depth, consider shadowing more? justa thought, i can't do that good so i shouldn't say anything though.....

Wow. Incredible. This is just excellent! I feel like I could actually shave his hairs because they look so realistic and right there on his face and head....hmmm...crazy. What great textures. I don't think I've ever seen hair represented this well. It's perfect. Not too heavy and falls exactly the way it should, very crisp all the way down to the tips. Really, very very nice in your talent, there. I'm very impressed.
