"What are you? Geez kid, that’s the wrong question! You’ve got a habit of that actually. You reallly should be asking: Who are you? Or: What are you going to do? Or: why did I start a fire?” The triangle beamed- well as much as a triangle without a mouth could, anyway.”Oh wait! I haven’t done that yet! Here- have some fire kid, you’ve earned it!”

The boy yelled in alarm as blue and yellow flames began darting up his sleeves at the snap of the creature’s spindly fingers. He swatted at the licking flames, and they soon dissipated. The boy took a deep breath.

"Sorry then- who are you?”

"Name’s Bill Cipher. I don’t know your name yet though, what is it?"

"Lemony Snicket."

"Well Lemony Snicket, I need your help with something, at least as much of a help as a human can be!" Bill grabbed the boy’s hand, causing him to drop his commonplace book. A bright blue glow began to emanate from the contact. "Care to make a deal?"

Well, here it is- A piece I worked on for a little more than a week. Young Lemony Snicket from “All the Wrong Questions” had the unfortunate luck of getting stationed to find volunteers in Gravity Falls. Bill likes the cut of the kid’s jib.
