This is AMAZING!

I'm so glad I was able to commission you, Dirk! I've always admired your style, especially the inking and the posing; you're able to exaggerate a character so much and bring out their personalities while still giving them structure, and this pic definitely adheres to that

He looks brilliant, the posing and expression suit him perfectly! I really like the colours you've used too; I think I'm actually going to keep his gloves brown from now on, they look like they fit in better. He looks good with brown-tipped ears too, I'll incorporate those as well!

Your minimalistic use of shading is really effective too; your use of lots of closely-packed lines to convey detail and shade is visually very appealing. If you don't mind me asking, how do you ink your drawings?

There's just a tiny little mistake I think I can see...I think the tuft of hair between his ears is supposed to be the same blonde colour as the rest of his hairstyle! It looks like you might have forgotten to fill it in, perhaps XD

I absolutely love it, though! It's an awesome rendition of him, and definitely gives me something to work towards. It's definitely helped remotivate me, and I hope I can draw him as well as this myself someday!

I ink all commissioned drawings with a brush and ink.

I corrected that hair color thing, actually there was something bugging me, but actually did not realize it was the hair color. I also removed some confusing lines, who created a weird readline in it.

I've got to try traditional inking soon! I've been focusing on improving my core drawing skills for now though XD

Thank you for doing that, I really appreciate it I didn't even notice those rogue lines XD I might end up giving him a haircut in future, or maybe just hide his hair under his hat!

Can't wait to get the hi-res copy! I'm hopefully going to turn it into a poster for my wall
