i went to the zoo today. i always feel bad for the animals, but ours isnt so bad, its very well funded and they try to make the enclosures as real as possible. and i love giraffes!Related content

I really like this, and I like the fact that the fencing was in there. It looks sad, trapped. I love it, and the way its looking down. I love giraffes. Nice job. =]

It is amazing that an animal like that will stay in the enclosure even though the fencing is only 3 feet tall.

great picture! animal kingdom in orlando is great for giraffe pictures. all the animals roam freeeeeee! but yeah, check out ~verbeana for a nice giraffe shot.

As well funded as you say the Calgary Zoo is, I have always wondered why the giraffe enclosure is so much more boring than any other. They get tan concrete and some trees tied to metal rods. Is that really enough for them? Would it be enough for you?
A lovely shot. I'm still waiting to get one roll back from my zoo trip, and the others are taking a lot of correcting, due to some kind of error with the film.

Really really nice. I think it would be better if you cut out that green bar on the bottom. It is kinda distracting. I like the relation the background has with the giraffe. The colours are great in this.

Much differnt than in the wild thats for sure, good pic, shows the emotion of the animal.
