Description Yeah, this is Garrus death in ME3, I felt the need to hurt myself
I named it 'Sorry Shepard' because I imagine these are his last words ...
Now that I have seen the actual ending I wish that Garrus died like this instead of starving on a levo-based life planet
The blue spot upon a totally b&w drawing has been inspired by my dear friend and great artist Sesshlidia
One day I saw this wonderful piece of art [link] and inspiration caught me. Lately I've been often tormented by the possibility of Garrus' death and so I decided to draw it, somehow to exorcise it.

I did it with traditional art, copying a screenshot of my Robin, I thought of Michelangelo Buonarroti's PietΓ  for the body positions, it also reminds me of Frodo and Sam upon Mount Doom, it's the apotheosis of sacrifice for the sake of all.

I finished it with Photoshop, though I have to make do with my mouse.

Spiderman 2 is a great movie and Mass Effect a great videogame series, I love the stories about heroes too

you're right, I used one of my screenshots for Shep's face, I had tried to modify it and give her a sorrowful look, but I could have done better than that ... I like to imagine that she is in a sort of trance, she hasn't yet fully realized what's just happened

If you look at it from a different perspective there is shock in Shepard's face. Shock from realising that one true friend (and love in most cases) is dead. Really sad Love this art!

Better to be prepared than have it take you by surprise. I have this terrible feeling BioWare will just kill everyone to wrap up the story line. Let's hope they don't do that! They'd have a fan girl rampage on their hands.

well it has stopped for some days here (I'm almost in France, meteorologically speaking, since the Valle di Susa, where I live, is in the far northwest) but it's so freezing cold that the half meter of snow that fell days ago is still there, untouched, and it stopped any chance to work for me
Plus, the streets have transformed into ice skating rinks and since I live at 800m asl if I start sliding I find myself at the bottom of the valley in a matter of seconds >.<

So, thank God, I have DA and videogames and books to keep me alive and -almost- well
