A forest so big the trees are like skyscrapers. So dense the only source of light is from reflecting crystals. Trees so heavy they twist around each other to hold themselves up and lean on the spire trees for support. With trees so large the ridges in the wood gather so much dust and dirt from the wind They become their own forest floor from which strange fauna spring up. Fungi and algae are most abundant as the canopy traps in heat and moisture like a green house. all puns welcome. The gaps in the spiraling twin trees are perfect foundations for where structures of various builds might rest. Their branches become the homes of thousands of dragons native to the forest. A place so large and secluded enough to be considered it's own nation. But beware the depths below. For there not even the faintest shred of light can be seen, not even from a crystal. And there no one lives but the strangest of monstrosities. Creatures that live and die without even the thought of light. A place where no dragon would ever dare lay wing to. A place where only dust covers the ground and no plant aside from the massive and mangled black roots of the trees of the forests backbone. A place where many have fallen, but only one has returned.
