This picture is rather plain and while the pose is nice, the arms need work - they look like they have no bones. Try taking a few tutorials on anatomy and foreshortening, and maybe do some life drawing so you can get the hang of it and develop your own style. Also, you need to learn to shade. This picture has no personality, no indication on a light source or background.
