Description Although the fight between T-Rex and Spinosaurus in JP3 was fiction based not at all on scientific evidence.
The film makers admitted that the "real" Spinosaurus would not have been a match for the bone crunching Tyrannosaur. so in defense of the scene in the movie they stated that it was the young rex from JP2.

Taking that into account here's my follow up when mom and dad catch up to ol Spino.

Also to be fair, that "Spinosaurus" technically wasn't even a Spinosaurus, but a super-hybrid like the Indominus and Indoraptor. Yes, all the dinosaurs in the movies are hybrids, but they're mostly about 90% pure dinosaur and 10% modern animal (i.e. a "Triceratops" in the movie has 9-10% frog DNA), while the Indominus is only about 30-50% actually T. Rex (base genome). So the JP3 Spino is probably only about 30-40% actually Spinosaurus; it is as much an actual Spinosaurus as much as the Indominus is an actual Tyrannosaurus. So it makes sense that it could take on a mostly-pure T. Rex the way the Indominus Rex did.
