For some reason, I was compelled to draw a tender moment between Pepe and Penelope yesterday. Most of the time they spend together is chasing after one another, so this is a change of pace. Not sure of the context but Pepe probably got told that he smells abysmal and Penelope is consoling him. Looney Tunes characters are such a blast to draw! Their shape language is fun to work with.The title is in reference to Stevie Wonder's song, which I was listening to while drawing this and is one of my favorites by him.
