dude! I love your sketches man! I've been working on a few of my own sketch cards for a convention. Just out of curiousity what type of markers do you prefer when you work? Thanks man you've inspired me!

Hey man we gotta keep each other inspired. I love your Turtles stuff. I've always loved those characters. Thanks for the kind words about my cards. I use Copic markers cuz I really like the brush tip. it gives you a lot of controle. I mix in some prisma markers and some color pencil too. the important thing is to use what u like though

Words from the wise! I like using mix media too I just discovered these oil based sharpies at my local art store! Dude they are awesome! I should probably invest in a good marker set I have a few copics and a few prisma colors but I've never spent money to get a whole set before! I'm glad you dig the turtle piece I'm planning on coloring it up sometime this week; I'll be posting my cards as soon as I get around to scanning them. I hope I can get more feedback thanks man!

if you really want to persure work as a sketch card artist or continue doing traditional media work I would suggest picking up a full set of prismas (they are less expensive than a set of copics) then maybe pick up a few more copics and if you really like them than scoop a set of copics. looking forward to seeing more of your stuff

Do I spy the DCnU Superman in there?
Also, if you do wind up going to Mid-Ohio Con (I don't know if you're actually planning on it), I'll do my best to stop by if I get a break from the Pendant table.

Yup, I figured I would try it out and see what it's like to sketch the new outfit. We didn't really have any plans to go to Mid-Ohio, but I just sent them an e-mail to inquire about space so I guess that's a maybe. If we do make it out there I'll be sure to come by and say hello!

I just sent an e-mail to the folks that run the con so as of right now the answer is maybe, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. I've never done that con before. Is it a good show?

Its always been a pretty good size show never been to Large but definately not a small one either. I have a few friends thtat run a booth/table selling buttons (www.MutantCactus.com) that will be there. Wizard has decided to take the reigns of it this year so that should speak for itself.
