Description
The coastal hamlet is very seldom heard of; whispers here and there but nothing firmly established.
They say if you walk through the forest until you get lost entirely, the forest will either let you die or spit you out on the road to this village.
They also say dying is preferable, for no-one who finds the town lives to tell the tale. A lot of knowledge on the town comes from hearsay and neighbouring village gossip.
Tales of the older members of the village walking into the ocean towards the moon to escape their torment are told by the geology on the unforgiving coast. Tales of impure water and parasites infesting the trees and people - the people themselves much much more than a label of 'ordinary' could attest.
Tales of rituals beyond anything we'd come to see in what could realistically be considered the outside world. This town is a cage of torment and decay. But why?
