Someone asked me, "what is your favorite thing you have made?"Here is my answer. I drew it with an HB pencil during a life drawing class around two years ago. It is the most satisfied I've ever been with a drawing. It is of my instructor's lover. I made the mistake of telling my mother that the subject happened to be a lesbian. The drawing is now framed on her wall and that's how every tour of our house starts out, "Oh, look at this nice lesbian my son Jason drew me."
Anyway, Enjoy.
Touched up in photoshop since it took multiple scans to fit the large pic.
3ft by 2ft. HB pencil and gummy eraser. 2 hours.

I agree with the comment about the feet being a little rushed but other than that this is an exceptional rendering. You can feel the gravity of her on the chair and the shading really makes her pop from the page. excellent job. Thanks for sharing!

the lighting's very nicely captured. my only gripe is the feet.. as was said earlier, it looks a lil rushed. ah well, nothing can be perfect. this is pretty close tho.

She's beautiful. I'd add this to my favs, but i kinda have my niece visiting my page once in a while, and she'd kinda tell my mom about me having a naked lesbian in my favs But still, wonderful

I think this piece is wonderful... you're very talented, as I always admire people that actually take a pencil and blank paper and make a something amazing with it...

Wow! Looks great. I'ld love to take a life drawing class but I don't know if I'ld feel comfortable staring at naked people.
Wonderful job on lighting and detail. The only thing that's iffy maybe is the feet. It looks like maybe you rushed a little with them or something.

this picture is beautiful;
her form is proportionate, the lighting is impeccable, and you made it look like it took very little effort to complete...
i can also see why your mother would frame and display this..
it's a classic piece, done quite eloquently..
