Looks like it's time for throwback...Saturday? Well, here's an old OC from 2011-2012, my early years of DeviantART.

Bubblegum is an Eevee..but she could easily pass as a cat or a fox. She actually originated on a website called Sketchfu (which has now been shut down). I had seen that many artists there had Eevee OCs, but by the time I had joined many of them had moved on to wolves and non-Pokemon characters. Naturally that didn't stop my easily influenced mind from making my own Eevee OC. She also had a sister who I had drawn less named Jade, who was essentially a purple and orange palette swap of Bubblegum (I also have like 3 OCs named Jade but that's a different story... I should just make it a recurring gag for every story/series of mine to have a character named Jade).

There was never much to Bubblegum's character, other than that she was often sad and looking for love. idk why I made being heartbroken her main defining trait (I was in 8th grade okay). Here's an old character bio from her first pic on DA (that I don't remember writing):
Name: Bubblegum the Eevee
Gender: Female
Age: 14 years old
Relationship Status: Single and heart broken
Personality: Shy and polite like me, but talks more and really wants to found her soul mate.
Likes: Ice cream, bubble gum, candy, swimming, perrywinkle, the night stars
dislikes: mean people, dusty things, sour grapes, foggy nights, rain
Looking for: Her soul mate, someone nice, sweet, and caring.

why did I make her heartbroken and wanting her soul mate?? I really don't know. I feel like that was never her true personality. Looking back at her I think she was rather peppy and sweet. I think in the end she doesn't need to find her soul mate. She just needs to love herself.

I may not really use her anymore but I thought it would be fun to draw her again. It's always fun looking back at old characters.
