History: Unlike the majority of his siblings, Rishi was born a nonbender. He always wanted to prove himself that he was strong like his siblings, and when he did really well in rugby during gym class, the coach wanted him to join the school team. Making him the youngest to ever join the schools team. He fell in love with the sport.

One day when he was visiting the Fire Nation he went to the palace and met up with Zana, and asked if she wanted to go to the beach. When the two went there, he began to teach her how to surf. As the two got more into surfing the waves, a shark came up and attacked Zana, biting her side. Thinking quickly trying to save Zana's life he jumped off his board and punched the shark to make it let go of her, loosing his arm in the process. He woke up in the hospital and Zana's father came in telling him to stay away from her or he will make him. To try and keep Rishi away he sent Zana to a private school, but Rishi continued to visit her, until her father caught him and sent him to prison. He couldn't handle it and soon killed himself.

After he was dead he went to Zana as a spirit, and the two thinking that she could not get pregnant since he was dead, had sex for the first time. A few months later she found out that she was pregnant. After her father was assassinated Zana brought Rishi back and he took care of their child until Zana finished her schooling, not finishing his own. When she was done with school they moved to republic city and tried out for the two rugby teams there, both making the teams and were able to buy a home with their signing bonuses.

Rishi lost his hand when he was drafted to fight in a war, and he was captured by hoshi, who tested his pain threshhold by cutting off his hand. She then stripped him and sent him back to his camp.
