This is really expressive and beautiful. The black-and-white photography works really well to show the shine in the skin and in the snake. I only wish the snake was less camera-shy and showed its face to the camera

yes, the snake wwas extremly camera shy. i had a Shooting once with a tarantula and it wasn't that shy :/

Wow, its very well done. Was this photoshopped too? I know you filtered this to be black and white but some of the textures look like it was brushed which is very effective.
