Please do not post errors\corrections to this page, please post them to my profile page.FINALLY I've done it, I've gotten to page 141. It's taken almost 4 years, and I've gone without sleep and missed meals to get this comic out on a weekly basis, but FINALLY I'm on the last page of the story.
Twilight has her horn and Cutie Mark back (Well, a Cutie Mark, at any rate), and is FINALLY writing that all important letter to Celestia.
It's hard to believe that a comic that covers only 3 months of actual time has taken this long to do, but FINALLY I've done it.
That's it people, we have an ending to this comic.
I've gone through 2 computers, 3 hard discs, 3 software packages, have gone from using a mouse to using a graphics tablet, and have given myself so many screen-headaches that I could barely see straight for a while in order to get this comic finished but FINALLY I have a last page to submit.
OK, it's not technically the last page. I still have TWO MORE STORY PAGES and an end title to come, but this is the last page of the actual story.
BEFORE COMMENTING please read the below:
1) Please do not ask about Twilight's Cutie Mark, that will be explained in the post credit pages (Page 144)
2) Please do not ask what about what happens to Celestia, that will be explained in the post credit pages (Page 143)
3) Apart from the last frame, please take everything at ABSOLUTE FACE VALUE. None of the text has an alternate meaning, there are no hidden agendas, no secret Easter Eggs. Nothing that happens is part of a greater conspiracy. If it's not openly said then it's not actually happened, or it's not relevant to the story, no character hates any other character, nothing is done out of cruelty, and all of the characters understand why the other characters have acted in a particular way.

The short answer is that the new Cutie mark is just a basic illusion spell, because it's much easier to create the illusion of a new Cutie Mark than to actually change anything.

Well of course she's more than a collection of skills and interests. She's got some neuroses in there too.
Wait, when you say a "little whoops moment," do you mean a littleΒ little whoops or a bigΒ little whoops? The first doesn't seem like it would be possible to clean up where they are, and the second would be better viewed as a gift of free fertilizer.
It's pretty clear subtext in that letter that Twilight resents 'Tia for setting her this ridiculous test. And why wouldn't she? But I do think some of those veiled threats are a bit disproportionate. I hope she doesn't intend to actually follow through on all of them.

Congrats on finishing the story! One thing I'm at least disappointed is not finding out what happened to the corrupt guards that cut off Silver Jubilee. Rather would have seen a story on what happened to them. They'd better not have been your "karma houdini" as known on tv tropes.
