A concept art of Valoel and Sachael - the archangels of war and peace. Valoel is holding a dove symbolizing tranquility, contentment and inner peace while Sachael carrying a sword symbolizing power, valor and bravery.
made in photoshop + painter in 2days on & off
i was so blessed to have this piece awarded as one of the five top entries shortlisted under students category for CG Overdrive's 2nd Annual International CG Excellence Award in Singapore last June 2007. I didn't win the the top prize tho. but bein there is HELLA REWARDING!

What I like about this pic is that it not only portays angels as being powerful
but as holy servants of GOD as well.
Many people think of angels only as warriors, but many of them are also involved
in cleansing, prayer and ministry.

hey man! just keep doin it! i remember i did this in a situation probably similar to yours. this was one of my early paintings when i was struggling about techniques and starting to feel good about my output at the same time. it takes an amount of time before you start feelin good about your work. as long as you're willin to learn and you have the passion to get better each day, you already got your ticket to being a good digital painter
