--HEADCANON!!-- (this HC will be included in the SSB AU eventually)

Bendy has a great talent for drawing, and he loves to draw any item, person, or any other thing he finds during his adventures.

At some point, Bendy gained a liking for comic books, and now, he wishes to become a famous comic book writer someday. He desperately wants to start making his own comic book, but he isn't ready to work on something this big, so for the moment, he only tries to make his own original comic strips about anything random he comes up with. This eventually caught Boris and Alice's attention, and they sometimes offer themselves to help Bendy on his comic strips (especially because Bendy has a very shitty calligraphy), and when the appropiate time comes, they will also help him to make his own legit comic book.

However, the Butcher Gang (mostly Edgar) tend to steal Bendy's drawings. Charley and Barley don't really give a crap about Bendy's drawings, they just steal them only to annoy the shit out of Bendy, or because Edgar asks them for help to do so. And as for Edgar... He's an entirely different case...

Edgar seems to be jealous of Bendy's talent as both an artist and a comic writer, so he always tries to steals his drawings in order to proclaim them as his, and gain some respect and admiration by the people of the town where the Bendy cartoons takes place.
Just in case anyone asks, Edgar also has a talent for drawing just like Bendy, but he steals Bendy's drawings and proclaims them as his because, he believes that his drawings aren't as good as Bendy's, and he's very used to make things the "faster way".

Although there has been some extreme occasions where Edgar steals the drawings, and instead of claiming them as his, he RUINS THEM entirely, by doodling or erasing the drawings, burning the drawings, ripping the paper sheet into pieces, ect. This normally results with Bendy either breaking to cry, getting into a fight with Edgar, or simply saying "Oh well! I can just do another one!".

This headcanon I made kinda makes Bendy and Edgar look like they have a very... Complicated relationship...
You'll eventually see why...
