This was ironic that I finished this piece an hour before they announced on the news that President Bush plans to return us to the moon. That is cool news to me. I grew up on the stories of Apollo 11 and Apollo 13, and the tragedy of Apollo 1 and the space race with the USSR. I always said we needed to go back!
Yes that is JFK and Jackie Kennedy, for those who don't know, he made the promise to land a man on the moon before the end of the decade. And we did.

I am one of those hippie assholes that is not positive we actually DID land on the moon, but I appreciate what you are admiring at any rate. I think it was a noble goal, and we at least got someone on the moon at SOME point.
Plus, this is just a cute caricature anyway. Through your art I am ending up liking JFK and I never had any feelings about him before at all. I know it is irrational but I do not particularly mind
