Description

*This is still very much a work in progress. I still plan on doing some minor shading/highlights and adding in more chicken scratch handwriting here and there.
* A lot of this lore I created, but then was improved upon by the help of a friend (who is now creating her own corrupted angel based on the Virtue of Humility/Sin of Pride).

Vitis was an angel. Not just an angel, but one of the first ever sired by the Grand Priest. These angels came before the ones currently well known throughout the multiverse, and as such, these ancient angels are now merely thought to be nothing more but fanciful stories told to keep angels and their gods in check. These ancient angelic beings weren't held to strict laws and didn't have to take on a God of Destruction to serve and attend. In their own right, they were gods. However, some did choose to serve a god, and in doing so would form a close bond with their chosen. For centuries these angels, and their gods, went unchecked. It was during this time that things took a turn for the worse for these Angels, and ultimately their gods.
Each and every angel was in some way, shape, or form corrupted. This corruption was enough to drastically alter and twist their bodies into something never before seen. Legend states that it also altered their gods as well. With this corruption came power. Power that was unrivaled and, for the most part, unstoppable. It wasn’t long before the angels garnered the attention of one that could put a stop to them, Omni-king Zeno. Watching these once perfect beings commit blasphemous acts upon the multiverse angered Zeno. His anger was handed out first to the Gods of Destruction. With a snap of his fingers or a flick of his wrist they were obliterated. This awoken something within these twisted angels. An anger and hatred so deep that it broke them a second time and turned them into raging beasts. Berserk and full of hatred they tried attacking Zeno. Their fate, too, was to follow in the footsteps of their gods and be erased from reality.
The Grand Priest, disappointed in his children, did manage to save a few of his firstborn from Zeno’s wrath. He blocked their mind from two main things. One; how they became corrupted. Their corruption wasn’t pleasant and it was something that had broken them beyond repair. It was the sole reason for their drastic changes in appearances. And two; who their god was. Losing their god had pushed them over the edge to the point where they tapped into a new god power, some overpowered berserker mode that blanked out their mind and filled it with nothing but rage, hatred, and pain. He then placed them inside massive crystal-line structures etched with angelic runes to keep them imprisoned. To keep them away from the reaches of Zeno and any who remembered the events that took place, the Grand Priest flung them into opposite corners of the Multiverse. However, he made sure to keep them away from their original universes as well, a simple measure to keep them hidden and safe. And this is how they stayed, trapped within crystalline for thousands upon thousands of years.

Lore (WiP):

- Vitis was formerly the Angel of Universe 2. (This was done merely for the hysterically ironic fact that Universe 2 is known as the Gentle Universe and had that whole love thing going on and V was corrupted by lust.)
- Her form of corruption came from being lusted after. Meaning, she was raped many, many, many, many times until it just broke her completely and twisted her into what she is today.

- Vitis was found by some of Frieza's henchmen while cleaning a planet meant to be sold.
- One of said henchmen decided it would be fun to throw ki blasts as the massive green crystal, which cracked, breaking the runes that kept Vitis sealed inside.
- Upon her escape her power level spiked, enough that it broke every scouter nearby, this also sent a sort of shockwave effect that both the Grand Priest and Omni-king Zeno felt and could possibly have been the force that broke her remaining siblings free as well.
- Dazed and confused, it was easy for V to be outnumbered by Frieza Force and carted off to Frieza’s ship. Her brief power surge had been her saving grace and was the only reason why Frieza’s lackeys did not try to kill her on sight.
- Upon their first meeting it was felt between Vitis and Frieza. A sharp zing of energy that marked Frieza as her “Chosen”.
- Only Frieza, Zarbon, and Dodoria know exactly what she is, or what she used to be.
- Vitis and Frieza made a deal that if Frieza keeps her hidden from her father and away from Zeno that she would eventually grant him godhood. However, it is also clearly stated that despite being powerful she has to cloak most of her power to stay hidden. Using her full power would only compromise her position and end with her erasure, pretty much forcing Frieza’s hand in tolerating her happy, flirty advances towards him.
- Frieza also makes V one of his generals, putting her up in the ranks with Zarbon and Dodoria.
- V does form feelings for Frieza. Frieza is only allowing such silly notions to continue for his own benefit. A hard reality she learns and becomes salty about later.

- While in Frieza’s army she enjoyed hanging out with Vegeta, Raditz, and Nappa.
- It was always hinted at that she could’ve possibly had a deeper relationship with Vegeta but it’s never exactly stated, especially after he marries Bulma and starts a family.
- Zarbon literally was her best friend, apart from Vegeta.
- The Ginyu Force annoyed her with their silly poses and loud obnoxious catch phrases.
- She always secretly wanted to punt Guldo like a football.
- During their time on Namek she started losing faith in Frieza. His true nature came out then and as much as she thought she loved him, his lust for power and immortality began to take its toll on her. It was his complete and utter vengeance for Goku that made her lose all hope in him, but even so, they were still bonded up until his death.
- When everyone was wished to Earth, Vitis was sent with them. However, even though Vegeta had asked her to stay, she refused and left.

- Vitis did stay within Universe 7 after her fall out with Frieza and refused to stay close to Vegeta.
- She ended up staying on a small populated planet with a diverse population of alien beings called Solios.
- Solios is a warm, tropical planet with vast jungle-like environments, beaches, and clear turquoise waters.
- Vegeta suggests Vitis takes up their last spot in the Tournament of Power after Buu falls asleep.
- It’s unknown how, but Whis manages to track down V, wrapping himself, Lord Beerus, Goku, and Vegeta to her location.
- Vitis is… a bit miffed about their sudden appearance, but claims she can’t help them. Scoffing, Vegeta retorts that it’s not that she can’t, but won’t help them. To which Vitis replies, saying sternly she would love to help them, as she loves this universe and would hate to see it erased, but being on a godly tier she cannot help in the Tournament of Power as it would be considered cheating.
- It is at this time she reveals what she truly is to Vegeta and Goku. It is apparent that Whis and Lord Beerus knew exactly what she was this whole time.
- She does agree to come back to earth with the group, more for moral support, but refuses to use Whis’ wrap technique. Instead, she teleports them all back to Earth instantly with her own technique. - It is then Goku has the brilliant idea of bringing Frieza back against the better judgment of everyone, including Vitis.
- In the end Vitis agrees to go with everyone to the Tournament of Power, to sit in the bleachers beside Whis and Lord Beerus. An idea that does not sit well with her. An idea that very much scares her, but as much as she claims to be doing it as a form of moral support for Universe 7, it is to clearly make sure Frieza does not screw this up.

- Even after Frieza’s death, Vitis never bonded with another person. It is still unknown if she was still bonded with Frieza or if she just didn’t care enough to look.
- After Frieza’s life is restored she is conflicted about going with him. She never says but it’s clear to a few that that bond is still there, even after years of Frieza being dead.
- She opts to stay behind with Goku, Vegeta, and the others for a while. She ends up confessing to Vegeta that the bond calls to her. It’s a feeling that won’t stop and only managed to subside when Frieza was dead because he was in a place she could not follow.
- An massive argument begins between V and Vegeta.
- Bulma steps in, reprimanding her husband about being insensitive and how could he allow one of his oldest friends to be in such pain. It’s enough to talk Vegeta down and he disdainfully says he doesn’t understand but if she feels she has to go be by Frieza’s side again he can’t stop her, but she’s always welcome to come back to where she truly belongs, with the people who love and care for her. Bulma also chimes in that their home is her home.
- Vitis teleports to Frieza, to which she is greeted merely by a sly smirk and a “I knew you’d be back.”
- Vitis is, once again, given the title as one of Frieza’s generals.
- This time around she is much more closed off around Frieza. Sometimes to the point where she is cold and indifferent towards him. However, she still serves him loyally and never defies him, no matter what he asks of her.

- When Paragus and Broly are recruited, along with several fresh faces, into the Frieza Force V can’t help but have a soft spot for the misunderstood Saiyan.
- However, she loathes Paragus and has no problem telling him off.
- Cheelai loves to follow her around, looking up to Vitis because she is one of the only actual strong females recruited by Frieza, plus they both seem to dislike Paragus.
- Vitis knows Lemo, but not well until after Broly and Paragus’ arrival. She, Cheelai, and Lemo are always trying to help Broly out in some way or give him some encouragement. Something his father doesn’t seem to care for.
- Upon going to Earth to get the Dragon Balls, V is mostly by Frieza’s side the entire time, except when he gets pummeled by Broly. This she happens to find hilarious and, despite being commanded to help at once, she acts as if she can’t hear Frieza. He deserved every punch he got.
- After Broly is wished away and the battle between him and everyone dies down, Vitis is torn. Standing between her chosen and her true friends she has to make a decision. Frieza demands she return, but as she turns her back on him and walks back towards Goku and Vegeta, she says that she was wrong about him. It is at that instant that their bond shatters, leaving Frieza a bit dumbfounded, looking hurt for only a few seconds before he turns and leaves.
- Shattering her bond with Frieza is ultimately something that ends up putting V in a very depressed state of mind. Bonds between angels and gods weren’t meant to be broken, and in doing so, she ends up in a very dark place.
- This slowly cracks her ward in her mind, allowing her to remember fragments of her life as an angel and eventually opens up enough that she goes berserk.

Fun Facts!

- Vitis originally (out of the DBZ/Super Fandom) is a Lust Demon. Her Angel self, before her corruption, is based on the Virtue, Chastity, which is the opposite of Lust.
- Her ki was meant to be reversed. I had initially wanted her to be a void of blackness haloed by a blinding white light, but after playing around with colors I ended up liking this version a lot better.
