For some reason this style reminds me of some old french advertisement....I don't know how to explain it.
I like the simplisity in this, I think it makes a very bold statement, "I am Lila, watch out boys and girls!" You have really perfected this character and her demeanor!

The blurry effect makes it look like its been printed onto clear plastic then laid on a piece of white paper.

(Didn't care for that glow/blur effect at first, but it has grown on me. Now I actually love it)

That's how it started actually. I was wondering "hey, how would it look if I made some kind of halo effect on some very straightforward line art?". And usually, when I ask myself that kind of question, the simplest solution is just to draw a Lila.

It actually looks like it the drawing "bleeds" (diffuses?) into the material on which it was drawn. Like it was drawn with markers onto a white plastic, and the markers colour has bled a bit into the plastic itself.
