There was nothing to be found in his gaze but a plain stillness.His eyes displayed no emotion, no fear, no passion... one could not tell whether he truly observed his surroundings, or if he even contemplated what he said before he spoke.
All one could identify was a pair of sockets holding two solid eyesβthe silence of which betrayed the charade of their owner's animated form.

It's the long-deceased Lord Joshua Valiard, all fancy like!!
Sixty years after his mysterious death, Lord Joshua still haunts his home and prison, the Valiard Mansion, forever trailing behind the spirit of his wife in pursuit of a sense of peace he is yet to attain.
*pats self on head*
Now I shall leave you all to your crazy fantasies about motorboating that sexy hobo beard.
(Not that I'm sure how the mechanics of that would work, but hey, I won't judge your crazy fantasies.)

No tutorial for this one, I'm afraid. To be honest, it's the first time I'd tried something this involved, so it was just 40+ hours of trial and error.

Well, it's like when I first saw him, he looks like a wild card; someone who could be either good or bad, but in his case, more good. Β Maybe when he meets Ruth, her first impression is that he's real sinister, but he is a ghost (full of dark humor maybe?), and he's just really happy to finally meet another person (other than his wife?) in the Mansion, especially if they just came from the outside. Β Then later, perhaps, when he learns of Chester and Theodore's plan to free Ruth, maybe, I don't know, he wants to be the one freed, and after supposedly helping them somehow, he tries to get out and leave them behind to a moment of peril, but then he has a change of heart, and instead makes the sacrifice play to get everyone out.
You don't have to do any of this, I'm just throwing this out there. Β I hope it helps!
