I assumed that Babidi survived so long because, as a wizard, he had the power to stall his aging or slow it down immensly

I just assumed it's because he's an alien. There are plenty that live for hundreds of years, so I don't see why one or two species living for millions would be odd.

Red-Jirachi-2 In reply to The-Devils-Corpse [2014-06-09 00:15:04 +0000 UTC]
Because millions is ridiculously long, on the same level as the Kais. And I think that the gods would live longer than mortals

So what if it is ridiculously long? Dragon Ball is a fairly ridiculous series. All the gods are just regular mortals working a job. None of them are born as higher beings. The aren't really that special or anything.Β
Personally, I don't see anything weird about it. Humans are viewed as the peak of evolution and are effectively the ruler of Earth. Though there are animals that live longer than humans. Such as turtles that live twice as long as us, Β or jellyfish that are effectively immortal by reverting back to a polyp stage once they get too old.

Fair enough. I just thought that, like in most fiction, wizards simply live really long. Also according to Toriyama the Kais were born as powerful mystical beings. From a tree, apparently
I had my own idea for Bibidi. He comes from the Perraulteen(a pun on Charles Perrault, author of Cinderella), a race of mages who felt insecure and limited due to the Kais presence. The worst of them was Bibidi, who desired domination in their name

The-Devils-Corpse In reply to Red-Jirachi-2 [2014-06-19 11:57:05 +0000 UTC]
Could be. Not saying you are wrong, just saying that doesn't have to be the only option. Personally, I like my option because I think it's funny. If I remember correctly, I named their race something to do with the word "pathetic" in Japanese or something because I have them living for a really long time, but being pretty pitiful otherwise. Despite Bibidi and Babidi being "fearsome" wizards at the point we see them in the series, it takes them forever to reach that point...and yet they still end up being extremely feeble. Feels kinda Toriyama-ish to me, so I ran with it.

Ah that is the guy. He is the final enemy of the z arc in your project right? Man this story is interesting me all the more

The-Devils-Corpse In reply to Noratcat [2012-02-02 07:33:30 +0000 UTC]
He was...now its Broli. I don't like that I had to do that because I really didn't want him to be the final big villain for that portion, but I also didn't want to break up the "Majin" flow the story would have going, it felt wrong since I was going to have each one lead into the next; Majin Buu to Mamodo Janenba to Genmajin Hildegarn to Majin Ozotto.

Wanted to come back to this comment..
Exactly what do Marnodo and genmajin mean?
Also in what way do they tie together?
π: 0 β©: 1
The-Devils-Corpse In reply to Noratcat [2012-02-02 18:20:21 +0000 UTC]
Well, that portion of the Z era only has a few villains that are threats and most of them tie together really well. Why slap Broli between them?
Broli*
Buu*
Janenba+
Hildegarn
Ozotto
Bio) Broli
Uub*
Kurieza*
Feel free to try and reorganize the ones without a "*" to make more sense, because the ones with it are set in stone.

so it's in order from most dangerous to least?
π: 0 β©: 1
The-Devils-Corpse In reply to Noratcat [2012-02-02 18:38:06 +0000 UTC]
No, its in order of planned appearance. The Broli on top appears while Gohan is training with Goten shortly before the Buu Arc really begins, like Movie 10, and then ends with Kurieza appearing during Goku's training of Uub a little ove a decade later, like in Neko Majin Z.

The-Devils-Corpse In reply to Noratcat [2012-02-02 18:42:48 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, but its nothing but a gag arc. Goku could knock Kurieza out by sneezing at this point, so he's nowhere close to a threat. That leaves Hildegarn, Ozotto or Bio Broli as the final threat options...

Noratcat In reply to The-Devils-Corpse [2012-02-03 02:21:08 +0000 UTC]
Well if you have decided on Bio Broli, then go with it, but think on it first.

The-Devils-Corpse In reply to Noratcat [2012-02-03 11:31:47 +0000 UTC]
I have. Not forcing Broli in the middle of a flowing plot is a big reason for me, but also because the longer I hold off on his appearance, the more time it gives the cloning process to develop him. One of my biggest issues with movie 11 was the fact that they killed Broli in movie 10 about a month before the tournament, and then around a month after the tournament in 11, they are fighting a full grown clone of him...seems like a stretch.

Noratcat In reply to The-Devils-Corpse [2012-02-03 15:17:53 +0000 UTC]
That makes sense. Perhaps Clone Broli would reach other Super Saiyan levels? Perhaps 4?

You know as much as I do. The series just says Buu was created by accident and I wanted to keep that aspect, so I couldn't have Bibidi trying to create him. xDDD
Its something I'll have to think up by the time I get to that portion of the series. lol

Are you seriously trying to convince me that Bibidi is like Dragon Ball's version of Willy Wonka...? Because I think you confused him with an Oompa-Loompa. xPPP
'tis funny though. lol

Haha, whoops, sorry, guess that's the problem of sending messages when it's raining. Oh, and you picked the right one, the message not sent deal(though actually was) because of the rain let me fix a quick spelling error. The other one would totally have tried to absorb you and fight an alien monkey-man.

so does this mean Ozotto is going to have similar powers to buu? or just his magic powers?
π: 0 β©: 1
The-Devils-Corpse In reply to Gfan1 [2012-01-31 16:27:05 +0000 UTC]
Ozotto will be weaker in terms of actual power, but much stronger in terms of techniques. As I've told others, he'll kinda be like a fusion of Buu and Janenba, meaning there really isn't anything he can't do...except regenerate, not in his skill set. It'll be much more of a strategy battle than a who can chuck the biggest blast.

Gfan1 In reply to The-Devils-Corpse [2012-01-31 20:57:33 +0000 UTC]

but in all seriousness it's nice that Ozotto's style of combat is different from the normal villains, adds some variety to the usual shouting and punching

The-Devils-Corpse In reply to Gfan1 [2012-01-31 22:24:17 +0000 UTC]
I figured since his main power in his game is to shapeshift into other fighters, which is a little strategic, I might as well take that to the extreme.
