Description
Victor Godwin, formerly a colonist of the ill-fated Eden Prime, has been in the clutches of Cerberus for over three years now. Cerberus stumbled upon the misfortune colonist when the heretic Geth had just impaled him on a spike to turn him into a mindless husk. After taking out the Geth, the Cerberus operatives were faced with a choice. Victor was dying, quickly bleeding out, but still alive. They knew they were going to take him and the Reaper technology for study, but needed to decide whether or not to save Victor from turning into a husk. Lucky for him (or unlucky, depending how you look at it), Cerberus chose to interrupt the transformation. They already had captured throngs of fully-transformed husks, and the chance to study the first stages of the spike's effects was too big to pass up. Victor ended up being taken to a high-security Cerberus facility. The Illusive Man had the intention of only studying Victor at first, and using the knowledge to defeat the Reapers. However, as they studied him more and more, they decided to modify and try to improve upon the technology. They kept Victor mostly human, but tore apart his insides to upgrade his body. Soon he was more tech than flesh, essentially a husk with human skin pulled over it.
His chance to escape came in the form of the Reapers. When the Cerberus facility was targeted by the Reapers during their invasion, he was able to flee. He didn't know where else to go but the Alliance. Yes, he knew that they may see him as a threat and kill him, or maybe kidnap and study him just as Cerberus had done. Victor had few options. The vengeful half-human contacted the Alliance, selling whatever he knew about Cerberus and his husk technology to them. When he went to the planet Earth, a home he had never even been to before, he looked up and saw the Reapers destroying his species. With their technology inside of him, a part of him he couldn't help but feel disgusted. He had been turned into a monster, an abomination. All he could do now is seek his vengeance on those who denied him the release of death, who doomed him to live as a shell of a man.
((I plan on designing his full character appearance later [he doesn't walk around in his undies, jsyk] but I was inspired and had to speedpaint something.))
