Thank you! I bought the design from someone else a while back, so I'm not sure if they were inspired by that or not. To be honest, I don't know the first thing about skating aha - I just admire people who can do it with such skill ^^ (and, of course, I love seeing all the awesome work on your boards!)

Well you did a good job drawing a skate board proportionally! Thank you I am not a good skater at all, just a downhill longboarder, which means I ride my boards fast downhill on roads and other areas. I do that with my fiancee who was originally a skateboarder as a kid and teenager, so he picked up downhill longboarding really quickly. All the disciplines are pretty different and use different types of boards and have different skills that overlap somewhat. Skateboards are really light and easy to flip around in the air and do tricks with, but not fast when it comes to rolling because of their tiny, hard wheels. Longboards can be good at rolling for long distances and providing a very comfortable smooth ride, they can be small and easy to flip around but still more stable than a skateboard, or they can be heavy, stiff, and very thick like downhill boards, to give the rider as much stability and control as possible at high speeds!

Lol, I don't know why I just went into all that, I just got a little carried away. I love longboarding I moved away from the mountainy area where my fiancee and I used to skate so we don't get to do the steep hills as much as we used to.

Huh, thanks for all the facts! It's something I've had a mild interest in but haven't really researched, so it's cool to know a bit more about it!
Sounds like it's a lot of fun, although I'll admit that I don't think I'd do well handling/steering a board at the speeds I imagine you'd get up to

You might be surprised! I thought it was going to be really hard, but its more of a mental thing mixed with practice. Once you get used to the feeling of the board rolling faster and faster, it grows on you and gets really thrilling! If you lived nearby me I'd invite you out to try some mild hills, but unfortunately that would be really hard considering we are oceans and landmasses away
