Gonna give you a little constructive criticism here... hope you don't mind!
A) You've got light sources coming from two different places. This can be distracting. Try developing methods for putting in your own light sources or choose stock images that are lit from the same side.
B) There's a very hard edge on the boy, the eagle, and the shadow. To counter this, it's a good idea to use the "feather" tool if you're using Photoshop - it allows for a very slight transparency at the edge of a selection that creates blending.
C) While I love the boy's position on the log, there doesn't seem to be a lot of depth in this piece. Placing a portion of the boy "behind" the trees and making the shadow stretched to imitate the way the ground distorts shadows would really improve it.
