Here's my concept for Mega Drifblim. I've wanted to do Drifblim for a while now. Unfortunately a quick Google search showed me that basically every artist out there has designed a Mega Drifblim concept like like I was planning... So after some thinking I decided to go a different way -vertically! Instead of a literal blimp shape, I focused on the shape of a hot air balloon. I wanted this design to be based on something real that can be explained nicely, while also rivaling Alolan Exegutor in height and meme-worthiness (hence my change in standard image size for emphasis). Its great new ability and stats spread (and natural HP) should allow it to provide a mixed support role.Details
Watching Drifblim Mega Evolve can be a scary sight if you haven't seen it before. Mega Evolution increases the thickness of Mega Drifblim's skin but also makes it more elastic. It can now take in far more air (or souls), which greatly expands its size. This gives its stats a nice boost, letting it rebound some of the energy from opposing moves and putting much greater power behind its own. Its transformation also lengthens its arms so it can lift or carry multiple Pokémon without them getting in the way of its exhaust vent. This new ability has made Mega Drifblim a surprise star in team battles.

Also that ability is so powerful. If Let's Go wasn't gen 1 exclusive I could easily see something like this being broken easily especially in co-op.

You recon? That would be the draw for using it e.g. it would be nasty teamed with a Heatran, but I wouldn't want it to be overpowered. I did give it quite evenly spread stats so it wouldn't be suitable for sweeping. Also, there would be great counters to it e.g. Trace or Mold Breaker, Smack Down, Gravity etc... but I've also added some stipulations to the ability so it's clearer, has to be next to the target and can't be used during Shadow Force, Fly etc.
