Description
About two years-ish back, I was wanting to make a Megaman 8-Bit Deathmatch mod featuring eight new robot masters, with unique abilities and weapons.
But I've mentioned this before.

Tancho Woman is based off a tanchozuru, the Japanese red-crowned crane. Why couldn't I just call her Crane Woman? I guess I was a weeb. Hah hah. "Was".
Befitting her theme, she's flighty, agile, and capable of soaring through the air. And given its connotation to classic legends, I also gave her a little bit of a ninja motif as well. Actual ninja didn't look a damn thing like this, but it looks cool here, I think.
Since then, I've learned that "bird" is a bit of a denigrating term for a lady. Oops. Oh well.
She's a little bit more reploid-ish than Robot Master-ish, looking back on her now. I'm told hair is the ultimate sin for Robot Master designs. Oops x2.

Tancho Woman is a dual-purpose Robot Master, simultaneously an errand helper and a bodyguard for Dr. Akira Tsume.
The Japanese robotics industry has followed Thomas Light's work with fascination, for multiple reasons. Plenty of people have attempted to create "the next Megaman", but one member in particular instead wanted to try and create the next Rock.
Dr. Light's vision was a world of robots and humans hand-in-hand, working together, and Dr. Tsume was fascinated by this prospect. As a widowed man with no children, he wanted a companion that could act as company and help around the house while he worked--and so decided to follow in Light's theories and to create a robot.
Officially, she is named Tancho Woman. Made out of a lightweight chain-alloy for mobility and clad in sturdy layered ceratanium outer armor, she is designed for foraying into high mountainsides or forests. She's capable of scanning and traversing wide areas in a short amount of time, and so excels in investigating disappearances of hikers/climbers in hostile terrain. To assist, she is capable of taking in air of different kinds and emitting it out through various different vents, either to blow things away or to boost herself in various different directions.
To Dr. Tsume, she is named Heike. And she is his daughter.
