Hey, looking at this page again a question popped into mind: at the top, second panel, is his mother's eyes all teary? It looks like it. If so, it adds a nice touch, in my opinion...because any mother who suffered such a horrible loss would no doubt be crying for a long time.

Maybe adding shadows would make it look more like your characters weren't just posted onto the bg. The bg's really well done, so it'd probably make it look even better! ^^

Wow I've just read all of the pages and... This story is seriously turning into a fantastic tale! <3 Its so unique the way you made it so that he's a cripple and the introductions are also a great way of explaining why this all happent! <3 Rather than just getting flung into a story with no idea who everyone is and whatnot.
Your backgrounds are so beautiful too, you really put a lot of effort into it - well done! <3 I really love the textures of the surroundings! So different from the 'normal' comic's! <3

Do you mind me giving you a watch? <3 I'd love to see how this story progresses! Also do you mind some critique? Constructive of course! On the 4th panel, you could have maybe done the floor darker underneeth the mother & pup. As a shadow you know? Good luck with the rest of the pages! I can't wait to read the next part!
