Description
This is an artwork for my Sailor Moon fanfiction, Crystal Sailor Warriors [link] . While there is a rather large cast with many important characters, these three could be said to be the most important. They're what I've nicknamed "the Palace Trio", that is Chibi Usa (middle), Yousei (daughter of Mercury, left), and Taru (daughter of Saturn, right). It may seem like just a pic of them sitting on the steps that mark the entrance into the Crystal Palace gardens but there is a ton of symbolism in this pic that, in my mind, sums Nightmare up as a whole. I might be the only one who sees it I guess. For one, their postures and expressions, tired, Taru and Usa lost their suit jackets, but pleased with what they've done. The drinks, Yousei's rum & Coke, Usa's gin&tonic, Taru's beer, not only say something about themselves personallity wise but also show they feel they are old enough to handle the responsibility that comes with drinking hard liquids. There are a few more things but I'll let you pick them out for yourselves. I'm incredably proud of this picture, it took me over three days to do, my hand being hurt and all, but I had to get it out.
