Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, and Zecora.Just made for practise with my new tablet.
I tried to make them all pretty diverse, to show that since friendship IS magic, it brings together all sorts of people. So Twilight and Spike are Indian, Pinkie is a chubby white chick, Rainbow is Hispanic (and butch - notice the unshaved pits.), Fluttershy is a Hijabi Middle Eastern girl, Applejack is... blonde..., Rarity is Asian (her eyes are probably natutally brown, but she's wearing contacts.)

zecora is the right race , she was a zebra in the show and zebra's come from africa so its natural that if she were human she'd be black

I didn't mean just in skin tone. So make Rarity "Halle Berry" African is what I'm suggesting. Same race, different tone. I just find it interesting what people use to reinterpret the ponies as human. I'm not judging one better than the other, but I think it speaks for the artist if they judged only by color rather than actual "race" of the pony, unicorn and pegasus. It's still a lovely drawing and I am excited when I see the girls represented as more than just "a bunch of white chicks".

I'm always curious why people who draw Twilight as black, still make Rarity white. They are the same "race" in the show. :3

I didn't make Rarity white, she's Asian. But yeah, I guess you could make that argument. I like her as Indian/dark though cos she has the darkest colour palette of the mane 6. But I've seen very different interpretations of the girls too that I like.

Cause apparently since Twi's skin tone in the show is Purple, and it is darker, so is the human skin.
And since Rarity's skin is white, so is the human.

Lulz I thought about it, but I kinda wanted to have them all with hair colours that human beings could naturally have for this one (Her bangs are rainbow cos I once knew a girl who dyed her bangs rainbow and I like the look of it). Though if I did another one I'd probably do one with their actual mane and eye colours to make them more recognisable, idk.
Thoooough, COULD one dye their armpit hair? I've never even heard of it. I'll have to ask some of my more butch friends or some guy friends, maybe they'll know XD
