"Thanks for meeting me Mr. Lynch." Jennifer says when Xander pulls up on his motorcycle.
"What's up?" Xander asks, warily eyeing the oddly dressed Tanner.
"Wait a minute, this is Alexander Lynch?" Tanner asks; "This is the famous 'Arsenal'? Don't look like much to me."
"Stop it! Both of you!" Jennifer orders as she holds a hand up to silence Tanner, her words causing Xander to pause, his pistol already halfway drawn and a wicked smile on his face. "This is just a courtesy visit Xander. Agent Underwood is from SECTOR, and wants to see the members of the 'Chain Gang'."
With a disappointed look Xander shoves his sidearm back into his shoulder holster; "Now we gotta report to SECTOR?" he asks.
"No." Jennifer assures him; "But some of our missions do come from SECTOR. Missions that they can't handle for one reason or another. So they want to see the members that do the actual missions. That's all."
"Well, he's seen me." Xander says curtly; "Call if you got a mission." he instructs as he guns his motorcycle and drives off.
"Before y'all say anything, ya that was a pretty stupid thing to say." Tanner admits; "I heard he was quick....but damn, that was a quick draw."
Looking at the mage with an odd look on her face, Jennifer says; "Actually no. I read minds remember? He purposely drew his gun slowly so you'd see it coming. To intimidate you." she informs him; "If he'd have done it at his normal speed you wouldn't have seen it at all. You'd just be dead." she says as she turns and starts walking down the street.
Thinking about it for a moment, Tanner hurries to catch up to her and says; "Ok, now THAT's intimidating."
